BARKtong the treat that guarantees to make tails wag and hearts full ❤️

In 2010, driven by an unyielding love for dogs, my daughter and I started a dog-walking business. It wasn’t just work; it was a way to share our passion for animals with like-minded dog lovers in our community. Over time, our business flourished, and in 2022, Marcela joined our team, bringing her own enthusiasm and dedication.

Around this time, inspiration struck. Growing up in South Africa, I had often made homemade biltong, a beloved snack. Living in Australia for many years, I continued the tradition. One day, I noticed how crazy our dog went for it, but I couldn’t give her the spiced and marinated version. That got me thinking: what if we made a version just for dogs?

We tested the idea with simple, wholesome chicken breast—nothing but 100% natural chicken, with no additives or nasties. Importantly, the chicken is ethically sourced, and we make the treats with the utmost consideration for the environment. The result was a nutritious and delicious treat that we named BARKtong. When we shared samples with our dog-walking clients, their feedback was unanimous: the dogs absolutely loved it!

This success led to the creation of Honey’s Treats, named after Honey, our cherished 15-year-old spoodle. It’s not just a treat; it’s a testament to our commitment to providing dogs with something both healthy and sustainable. Today, with Marcela, Gabriella, and myself (Ilana) leading the way, we’re proud to offer BARKtong to dog lovers everywhere, ensuring their furry friends enjoy the very best.

Woof woof ! This is kolo !!! These are my favourite treats ! I go crazy when mum orders them for me !! Honey I think of u whenever Ieat them as they are so special just like you were too ❤️💙❤️💙 I recommend them to my furry friends at the park !! Absolute faves !!

My dog Nava started eating the chicken barktong as a puppy. She loved it so much that we used this treat to aid in all puppy training. Nava was toilet trained within a few days as she knew that everytime she went outside she got a honey treat.
I love that it is so healthy and she loves that it is delicious. I now always have it stocked at home and could not recommend it enough.
